- Inspired to start playing tennis at the age of 3 by sister; grew up watching tapes of her idol Monica Seles
- Speaks Polish, French and English
- Has represented Canada in Fed Cup since 2004
- Enjoys movies and concerts, shopping with friends, going to NHL games

- Most scary and most fun thing ever done was skydiving.
