- A member of Canada's Davis Cup team since 2002 and has a 10-11 career record (8-11 in singles) in 13 ties
- One of his biggest wins came in a four-setter in 2003 against Brazilian Flavio Saretta, which lifted Canada into World Group for first time in over a decade
- Considers hard courts his favorite surface and strength of game his serve
- Coached by countryman and former ATP World Tour pro Martin Laurendeau (since July 2009).
