  • Full name is Frank Russell Dancevic
  • Began playing at age eight and also competed in soccer and hockey before tennis
  • Father, John, is an engineer and mother, Doris, is a hotel manager
  • Has three younger sisters, Monika, who plays at University of Georgia, and twins Kristina and Sonja
  • Enjoys fishing, golf, hockey and hitting the gym
  • Big fan of Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL)
  • Favorite place is being at home and says "There's no place like it"
  • A member of Canada's Davis Cup team since 2002 and has a 10-11 career record (8-11 in singles) in 13 ties
  • One of his biggest wins came in a four-setter in 2003 against Brazilian Flavio Saretta, which lifted Canada into World Group for first time in over a decade
  • Considers hard courts his favorite surface and strength of game his serve
  • Coached by countryman and former ATP World Tour pro Martin Laurendeau (since July 2009).
