- Won his first challenger title at Salinas, Ecuador in March 2002. Also has three ITF Futures titles. As a junior played on the South American circuit and was a member of an ITF 16 and Under touring team which came to Europe
- Enjoys going out, discos, listening to music, particularly rock.
