- Mother's name is Gala, father's name is Oleg; introduced to tennis at age 7 by mother, who loved the sport
- Lived and trained in Yugoslavia, Spain and France (which is why she is fluent in Russian, Yugoslav, English and Spanish; she is now improving her French)
- Currently living with mother, brother Brian and dog Wilson
- Loves children, reading and writing; favorite writers are CS Lewis, Oswald Chambers and Jody Picoult
- Loves anything that involves tennis
- With her experiences of training in different countries, plans on creating a tennis academy for young players in the future.
