- Younger sister, Meredith (born Mar. 4, 1983), played at Flagler College in Florida
- Moved from Minnesota to Vero Beach, Fla. at age four in 1985
- Attended Vero Beach High School for first three years and his senior year at Boca Prep in Boca Raton
- Lived with Andy Roddick’s family for one year in 1999
- Played on same high school basketball and tennis teams with Roddick that year
- Trains at Saddlebrook Academy with Blake and Morrison
- Has a 6-5 career Davis Cup record (4-4 in singles) in seven ties
