Florida's Match Point Tennis Superstore Grand Opening

Fort Lauderdale, FL -- Match Point Tennis, Inc. announces the official grand opening of its new tennis superstore. A local retail institution for over 30 years, Match Point Tennis (formerly known as Riff's Racquet Shop) has moved to a new 6000 square foot facility located at 1510 E. Oakland Park Boulevard between Federal/US1 and Dixie Highway.
The new facility, a former dry cleaning plant, features an indoor instructional tennis court with ball machine, computerized video swing analysis, and a massage therapy suite with the latest spa treatment technology: FAR Infrared Sauna. Match Point Tennis is the largest tennis specialty retailer in Florida, featuring the most extensive selection of tennis equipment, apparel and footwear in the state.
"From a business perspective this may seem like an unlikely time to be undertaking a major expansion, but our business has been growing steadily as we continue to see players returning to the sport. In challenging financial times like we're experiencing, tennis is relatively inexpensive -- and it's great for relieving stress," says Match Point Tennis President, Joel Greenbaum.
"Customers tell us they feel the excitement as soon as they walk in. As you enter our new store it's as if you're walking onto the stadium court at the US Open. Racquet technicians are busy stringing racquets, customers are taking lessons or trying out racquets on our court, and there's live tennis via satellite on our large screen HDTVs. When you come off the court you can even treat yourself to a therapeutic sports massage by one of our licensed massage therapists -- it's a totally interactive experience."
Match Point is conducting it's "official" grand opening the week of November 17th through 23rd. Events are scheduled all week featuring current and former professional tour players and tennis legends Brian Gottfried, Harold Solomon, Sebastien Grosjean, Tom Gullickson and Malivai Washington. Customers will have an opportunity to meet and play tennis with these tennis greats in the store while testing out the latest equipment offerings by Wilson, Prince, Head, Babolat, Volkl and Dunlop. In addition to numerous raffle and door prizes, a John McEnroe autographed racquet will be featured as part of the grand prize drawing.
