Tennis Channel to Provide 2009 WTA Coverage of The MPS Group Championships

Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. -- The MPS Group Championships has selected Tennis Channel to cover the 2009 tournament scheduled for April 6-12 at the oceanfront community of Sawgrass Country Club, located in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Tennis Channel will provide eight (8) live hours of coverage from the event's inaugural run, all of which will be telecast in high definition.

Live coverage will include both semifinal single matches on Saturday, April 11 followed by the Sunday, April 12 live coverage of both the singles and doubles final matches. "We are pleased that our partnership with the Tennis Channel will provide more hours of coverage and for the first time coverage of our doubles final," stated tournament director, John Arrix.
