Injured Serena Williams Top Seed at WTA Marbella

After sustaining an injury at the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami, Serena Williams is an unlikely top seed this week at the Andalucia Tennis Experience in Marbella, Spain.
Williams lost to Victoria Azarenka in the Miami final, but has not yet withdrawn from Marbella.
Other seeded players are Jelena Jankovic, Kaia Kanepi, Anabel Medina Garrigues, Carla Suarez Navarro, Sara Errani, Sorana Cirstea, and Tsvetana Pironkova.
Wildcards went to Kanepi, and Spaniards Maria-Teresa Torro-Flor, and Estrella Cabeza Candela.
Jankovic opens against Italy's Francesca Schiavone, and Czech Nicole Vaidisova is unseeded.
