If you are tennis fan then Wimbledon is an absolute must visit. From the historic grounds, the English tradition to the on-court drama and excitement, Wimbledon is the biggest and most recognized tennis tournament in the world.
Unfortunately because of the event’s popularity and stature, it’s not easy to get Wimbledon tickets, especially those for the majestic Center Court and Court 1. But there is hope. However, if you are unable like most people to take part in the annual Wimbledon ticket lottery or not keen to sleep overnight and take you chance in the queue or take a crack a 5pm grounds passes, then you’ll have to look elsewhere as tickets for most sessions, especially the round of 16 (fourth round), quarterfinals, semifinals and finals are next to impossible to get through the tournament.
And with this year’s tournament, which runs from June 22-July 5, so up for grabs in both men’s (will it be Rafael Nadal again, or Roger Federer?) and women’s fields (Serena Williams or Venus?) plus the emergence of Andy Murray and a new retractable roof ready to cover the famed Center Court for a first time, tickets and good seats for the 2009 Wimbedon event are going to be in that much more demand.
But click below and you may be able to pick up some reasonably cheap Wimbledon tickets, and get your seat for the best tennis of the year.
