One of the top destinations in the World, Miami, Florida is also home to one of the biggest, if not the biggest, tennis tournament outside the Grand Slams, the 2013 Sony Ericsson Open.
Dubbed by many in pro tennis as the fifth Slam, the Sony Ericsson Open has enjoyed a long history as one of the most popular tennis tournaments of the year, celebrated by both fans and players. Located on Key Biscayne at the Crandon Park Tennis Center, just a few miles east of central Miami, the tournament annually features virtually all of the top men's and women' players competing simultaneously.
In 2011, Novak Djokovic continued his historic season beating Rafael Nadal in a three-set thriller. Djokovic then did it against last year beating Andy Murray.
This year's edition runs from March 18 (start of qualifying) through the finals on March 31 will again boast a strong field which will likely include Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, Andy Roddick, Rafael Nadal and Juan Martin Del Potro.
