The 2009 SAP Open is the first stop on the ATP circuit in the U.S. The tournament, which runs from February 9 through the 15 in San Jose, Calif., offers $600,000 in prize money and once again has attracted some of the biggest names in the sport of tennis.
Among the top players already confirmed for San Jose include Andy Roddick, Juan Martin del Potro, James Blake, Mardy Fish, Ernests Gulbis, Radek Stepanek, Sam Queerey, Lleyton Hewitt, Marcos Baghdatis and Tommy Haas.
On Monday, in a special exhibition James Blake will battle tennis legend Pete Sampras. Tuesday will feature Roddick along with the exciting doubles twin-tandem of Bob and Mike Bryan. Blake and Del Potro are schedule for Wednesday.
