For the longest time Tomas Berdych has been calling WTA touring pro Lucie Safarova his girlfriend.
The two tennis stars have been dating for years now in public, and it seems to be a match made in tennis heaven.
The lefty Safarova with the gorgeous eyes has been ranked in the Top 30 in the world. Born on February 4, 1987, Safarova had her best year in 2007, but injuries have derailed her progress.
Berdych, a year older than Lucie, continues to make strides on the ATP. And Lucie is often present with Tomas at his biggest matches.
The "Czech Mates" grew up together in Prostejov where they trained at the same tennis club. While the duo were friends in the early years, by the 2005 they have taken their relationship to the next level.
By all accounts, Tomas and Lucie make a fine boyfriend and girlfriend couple.
