Kimmi Says:

Correction staff: Venus beat Pannetta in Acapulco last year not malasya,

she is in acapulco to defend her title this week.

jane Says:

Kimmi, I’m feeling quite disgruntled as a Canadian Olympic fan a.t.m.. How about you? We have missed out on so many close opportunities; it’s depressing. Last night in the speed skate, the brothers BOTH lost. In ski-cross today, our guy fell right before the finish line; our bob sled guys missed out tonight; our apline ski team have basically sucked since day one. And now even our men’s hockey team is losing. SIGH!!

Kimmi Says:

I know, I know..so close but yet so far. This hockey game, canadians were all over USA goal but does not get the goal in and as soon as USA get to attack they score. aaaarg!! Bad loss, that game was closer than the 5-3 score line.

I did not see the brothers in speed skate but I agree with u on the bob sled and alpine ski..so unlucky.

s/b bob sled and ski-cross..

Kimmi Says:

Well, but we got silver today on women speed skate so that is good. Hope for more magical moments.

Kimmi Says:

I agree with these commentators, USA Goallie was outstanding. he saved lots.

jane Says:

Yep Kimmi – their goal-tender was WAY better as we had many more shots on goal but couldn’t put them past the crease. And in the end, shots on goal, power plays, none of it matters if we don’t capitalize.

It’s like missed break point chances in a tennis match; if the player doesn’t convert on those, he has to win in a tiebreak, or forgetaboutit! Sigh.

Like you, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for a few more magical moments. : P

Elena will crash all.
