Vera Zvonareva Getting Medieval on Her Racquet [Video]

Vera Zvonareva is best known for her tears, but today during her loss at the Family Circle Cup the emotional Russian unleashed one of the best racquet smashing episodes you will see on the WTA.

Judge for yourself. I have seen no better rage against a frame from a women in my days. Marat would be proud.

She parlayed that anger into three straight games but it didn’t help in the end, however. Vera lost 6-0 6-3 to Samantha Stosur.
