For some Friday fun, if you wonder what makes Rafael Nadal’s forehand so good I may have answer. It’s not just his Nadal’s power, technique, racquet, string or even that he’s left-handed that makes his forehand one of the most dominant in the history of tennis.
It’s is for the simple reason that he practices the stroke over and over to point of perfection. As proof, I submit video evidence of Nadal practice his forehand in the airport yesterday just before his flight to Toronto.
Watch for Nadal ghosting his forehand at the end of the clip.
Also in the video interview Nadal, who was accompanied by father Sebastien, talks about the trip and his thoughts on the US Open. And if you look closely you might even sneak a peak at his ticket details – the world No. 1 must be flying first class!
Nadal will be the top seed at the Rogers Cup Masters which begins on Monday. He’ll benefit from a bye but fans might catch a glimpse of him Monday or Tuesday in doubles when he pairs with No. 2 Novak Djokovic.
