Rafael Nadal Visits Monks in Thailand [Video]
Ahead of the Thailand Open in Bangkok, top seed and tennis No. 1 Rafael Nadal spent some time this weekend with a group of Buddhist monks.
Nadal joined the monks in a special ceremony on a beach in the town of Hua Hin in the Prachuap Khiri Khan province where Nadal was vacationing.
Nadal is keeping busy before his first match on Thursday. He is also reportedly scheduled to take part in the King’s One Million Tree Planting Program in Hua Hin tomorrow and then meet with Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva in Bangkok on Wednesday.
