Popular game show Wheel of Fortune was at the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells last week shooting segments for an upcoming “Tennis Week”.

The show’s main star, hostess Vanna White, was on site speaking to defending champion Jelena Jankovic and the Bryan brothers for their tennis special which is scheduled to air at the end of May from May 30th to June 4th.

On the April 25 airdat, Wheel of Fortune will also be promoting a prize package for two to the 2010 Indian Wells event.

The Wheel of Fortune first hit the American airwaves back on September 19, 1983! That’s well before many of today’s top tennis stars. The show is also the longest-running syndicated game show in United States television history with over 5,000 episodes aired.
