Wozniacki on Serena Williams, Practicing, Giving Little
World No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki via the USTA gave a press conference during her play at the Rogers Cup in Toronto:
Was she watching Serena win the WTA event in Stanford? “To be honest, I didn’t really watch tennis while I was practicing. I had a lot of things just going on and I was pretty busy. Serena must obviously have been playing very well winning a tournament again. It’s nice to see her back. It’s always great to have a great champion back on tour and doing well.”
Wozniacki on what she’s been working on in practice:
“Just a little bit of everything: the serve, the returns, just some footwork. It’s just small things really.”
Really, that’s about all that was interesting in that press conference. Sorry.
