Youtube is full of fun videos this morning, and here are a few more I just came across. In these two videos we see a much younger Novak Djokovic (it is him) going through some fun workouts and later taking a shot at Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger” on Rockband.

Who would have believed this youngster would go on to have one of the greatest season any tennis player has ever had?

Djokovic’s new training regimen includes a gluten-free diet and hours and hours on the practice courts perfecting those sublime groundstrokes. He trains with physiotherapist Milan Amanovic, Gebhard Phil-Gritsch and coach Marian Vajda and it’s all paying off in a big way this season.

Djokovic has won 53 of 54 matches and an ATP-leading nine titles after defeating Mardy Fish in three sets yesterday at the Rogers Cup Montreal.

Djokovic’s fitness and training could really be put to the test is the hotter, more humid climate of Cincinnati this week.

Stephen Dahl Says:

He is an amazing character, friendly, childish and constantly kidding, yet he turns into an impenetrable steel on the court…it’s amazing.

This guy knows to live.

Skeezerweezer Says:

Ya know, he has worked very hard, it’s obvious with his results. So it is very cool to see him let loose, be silly, joking, having fun, take the whole thing in stride. Seems like a normal young man just enjoying the ride he has earned and been blessed with. This is how you don’t burn out at a early age and keep the tour life in perspective. :).
