Venus Williams revealed yesterday at the Australian Open that’s she’s been cheating on her restricted diet.

The 32-year-old Venus who had to adjust her diet 18 months due to her ongoing battle with Sjogrens’ Syndrome, admitted that she’s gone from being a vegan to now a cheagan!

“I think it’s pretty well known I’m a cheagan,” she responded when asked about her diet. “If it’s on your plate I might get to cheat. If you’re sitting next to me, good luck. You turn your head once and your food might be gone.

“I’m not perfect, but I try.”

Wearing a watercolor dress, Venus was nearly perfect in her first match losing just one single game in a win over Russian Galina Voskoboeva. Venus, who won her last event in 2012 at Luxembourg, is slotted to play Maria Sharapova in the third round.
