Caroline Wozniacki was at the Masters today caddying for longtime boyfriend Rory McIlroy during the traditional par-3 event. The two former No. 1s of their respective sport had some fun at Augusta and at one point McIlroy let Caroline try a shot off the tee at the 9th. Unfortunately for the Dane, much like her attempts at winning Majors, it failed miserably.
The shot went about 5 feet right into the water.
“I don’t remember that,” Caroline confessed when asked about the try. “Do you remember that?” she asked her beau.
“I do actually,” responded Rory. “The divot nearly went farther than the ball. She wasn’t warmed up… They get second serves in her sport.”
McIlroy, who’s the second favorite behind four-time champion Tiger Woods, enjoyed having Caroline along for the ride today.
“She did well,” he said. “She did great. It was just great to have her right there. It was a nice way to spend a Wednesday afternoon. You know, it’s her first time here at Augusta, and I just wanted to show her a good time and I think she really enjoyed it.”

Added Caroline, “I just enjoyed it. It was my first time out here, so, you know, it was just a great experience.”
Earlier in the day Wozniacki had actually invited John Isner to come to the Masters, forgetting the American was in Houston for an ATP event which was hit by rain today.
Wozniacki isn’t the first former world tennis No. 1 to play caddy for a day at the Masters. Two years ago Andy Roddick accompanied Zach Johnson around the course during the same par-3 exo event.
