Roger Federer admitted today that his twin girls, Charlene Riva and Myla Rose, have no understanding of what their father does nor how well he does. The Swiss, who won today over Julien Benneteau in straight sets in the third round at the French Open, talked afterward to the press about his 3-year-old girls.

“They have no clue,” joked Federer. “It’s better that way. But they know that I play a lot of tennis, and I go back and forth, back and forth. I come back from the courts, and I go play a match and I come to practice and then I come back to the room.

“They must be, like, ‘This guy is crazy. I don’t know what he’s up to. But, anyway, seems like he’s probably a tennis player dad.’ That’s what they are thinking at the moment.”

Federer will play rival Gilles Simon on Sunday in the French Open fourth round.

Michael Says:

Pretty looking girls. I think in a year or two, they will realize the greatness of their Father who has conquered the sport. I am not sure what is in Roger’s mind about his Girls career. But for me, they can become better Tennis players since they have the genes of both Roger and Mirka and Tennis runs in their blood. They are the future of Womens Tennis.

Steve 27 Says:

Nah,the children of Steffi and Andre have better genes, combined.
Mirka as a tennis player, was lackluster.

Margot Says:

Anyone from the UK think Fed looks like Hugh Dennis with new hair cut?

Michael Says:

Steve27, But Roger is miles ahead of Agassi as a player and that to an extent compensates Mirka’s weakness.
