Maria Sharapova and Genie Bouchard will meet on Thursday for a spot in the French Open finals. The two have played twice before with the elder Sharapova winning both in straight sets.

But their relationship dates back even further. Much further. They even met at the 2002 Miami event 12 years ago when a 14-year-old Sharapova posed with an 8-year-old Bouchard in this adorable picture.
