During her first round on Arthur Ashe Stadium, 43-year-old Kimiko Date Krumm not only had to deal with 2-time champion Venus Williams but also a pesky bee. Eventually the bee buzzed off but not Venus who won the matchup of the two oldest women in the draw 26, 63, 63.
