Serena Williams Showed Up At The French Open To Watch Venus

Absent from the tour the rest of the season, Serena Williams stopped by the French Open to watch big sister Venus destroy Karumi Nara 63, 61 in the second round of the French Open.
Pregnant with a baby girl due later this summer, Serena has been in Europe and showed up at Venus’s match in the middle of the first set.
“Yeah, she said, ‘Good job’. She came in sometime during the match. I don’t know exactly when.
“She knows exactly what it’s like out there, and she’s had a lot of success here. If she stays here through the end, I would like that.”
By winning at 36, Venus becomes the oldest woman to reach the third round at the French since Billie Jean King in 1982.
