With concern mounting over Andy Murray’s participation at the Australian Open, the Scot showed up at the Abu Dhabi exo for a hit, and to allay some of those fears.

Murray also responded to a poll in which many didn’t think Murray would make it to the Australian Open.

Murray is recovering from a hip injury. The former No. 1 hasn’t played since a Wimbledon quarterfinal loss to Sam Querrey.

While Murray will not play in any matches at Abu Dhabi, he remains on the schedule for Brisbane next week.

Connie Says:

I would think that it will take some time for Andy to return too full fitness – and that’s normal surely?
In addition to the injury and time out, he’s recently become a father for the 2nd time and has domestic issues on his mind.
I anticipate it will be spring before he really gets into gear and hope he can challenge for the slams again. GO ANDY!

Daniel Says:

Good news, hope they all play AO, less than 20 days away.
