Schmiedlova, Ranked Outside Top 100, Returns to Prominence After WTA Bogota Title

“I was much more nervous days before [the final],” said Schmiedlova, who doesn’t even have a head shot photo on the WTA website. “Yesterday, for example, I played to get to Top 100 and to get to the main draw of Roland Garros, and also to get to final of WTA. I just wanted to show a good game, and that I can play good, and I think at least part of the match today was really good.”
