A few weeks after releasing Sascha Bajin in a stunning announcement, Naomi Osaka has added USTA coach Jermaine Jenkins to her team.
Osaka wasn’t clear if Jenkins is her new coach, but she’ll now have the services of someone who worked with at the USTA, an organization that couldn’t land Osaka who grew up in the U.S.
“Had a great dinner with the team ❤️ also taking this moment to thank Jermaine for joining us and coming on board lol 😊🙌” Osaka posted on Twitter.
The 34-year-old Jenkins also served as Venus Williams’s hitting partner.
The pair will make their debut at Indian Wells where Osaka will defend her first WTA title.
