Muguruza Into 1st French Open Semi Wednesday; Americans Fail as Serena Last Standing

“I have been waiting for like two or three days for my fourth-round match,” she said. “Of course it was getting nervous and all this stuff because of the weather. I had to change my hotel, as well, because my reservation finished. But I’m happy that in the end the wait was worth it.”

Angry Radwanska, Halep Lose, No Men’s Matches Finish at Rain-Shortened French Open

“I’m just so surprised and angry, that we have to play in the rain,” Radwanska said. “It’s not a $10,000 tournament. It’s a Grand Slam. How can you allow players to play in the rain? I cannot play in that conditions.”
