Ivanovic Wasnt Mentally Ready to Win…Yet

It wasn’t her best match of the tournament, in fact it may have been her worst. That’s a pretty scary thought considering Maria Sharapova didn’t lose a set in beating the new world No. 2 Ana Ivanovic in Saturday’s final.

Sharapova Sublime in Australian Open Title Win Over Ivanovic

Russian starlet Maria Sharapova earned her third career Grand Slam titles Saturday defeating Ana Ivanovic7-5, 6-3 to win the Australian Open women’s singles title in Melbourne.
