Jankovic, Radwanska, Begu Win WTA Titles Over Weekend

The Swiss had beaten Radwanska in their most previous meeting, and came into the final with Top 10 wins over Garbine Muguruza and Caroline Wozniacki under her belt, but it meant little against the steady, controlling game of Radwanska, who hit almost twice the winners to unforced errors during the contest.

Preview: Odds Against Serena Williams at US Open

Contrary to what commentator Chris Evert says, Serena Williams is the GOAT. She, the Martinas, everyone else is out. But having said that, the odds are against Serena that she is going to win the US Open and complete the calendar year Grand Slam. The pressure build up is too great.

Defending Champ Kvitova Dumped at Wimbledon; Germans Exit Too

“I cannot stop smiling,” Jankovic said. “I’m really, really happy. I was just happy to be playing and competing on grass. Grass is not my favorite surface and Petra plays so well on it. I think it’s her favorite surface. It shows by winning two Wimbledon titles.”
