Nadal Tested; Djokovic, Isner on Sunday at Indian Wells

“With my serve I was doing nothing,” Nadal said. “When that happens, the opponent is able to play more aggressive, play more confident and in the end, eight double faults, I give him an opportunity to win a lot of free points. I was a little bit scared for the back. I am not feeling 100 percent confident with my serve. But probably that match is going to help me understand that I can start to serve normal again.”

Tuesday Previews: Australian Open Quarterfinals

The mouthwater match-up fans have been waiting for. The 15-2 career head-to-head bears little relevance for fans who remember the two titanic meetings between the Serb and Swiss in 2013: the Australian Open one year ago when Djokovic prevailed 12-10 in the final set, and the US Open where the Serb needed to come back from 1-2 sets down to win 6-4 in the fifth. Federer King, Li Queen of Cincinnati

“This was the first win here I had also after I had twins, right? So it’s great coming back here,” Federer said. “I’ve been able to win five. It’s obviously incredible because I remember the first few here I struggled. Now looking back it’s just unbelievable. Plus this was probably the best week ever here in Cincinnati for me never dropping my serve and all that stuff and beating Novak in the final. This was very sweet. No doubt about it.”
