“I’m so happy I was able to come here to Bogota for the first time and winning my 13th WTA title here makes the experience even better,” Jankovic said. The Serb last raised a trophy at Indian Wells in 2010, and was 0-5 in finals since then entering Bogota. The Argentine Ormaechea had never advanced past a WTA quarterfinal before the week.
