Nadal Breezes, Sharapova Scraps; All-Star Tues. at Sony Open Miami

Like Sharapova, Nadal’s career has seen a Miami draught, going 0-3 in career finals at the Sony Open. He will next meet No. 14 seed Fabio Fognini, who defeated Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut 4-6, 6-3, 6-3.

Venus Williams Gets Family Revenge Winning WTA Dubai Title

Cornet entering the event had an 0-28 streak against Top 10 players before toppling Top 10er Simona Halep in the first round. She then snapped her 0-17 streak against Top 4 players with a defeat of Serena Williams in the semifinals.
