“First thing I said when I came round was ‘did I win?’ #somethingsneverchange”, he also tweeted.
Murray had the surgery to take care of what has become a bothersome back injury, one that kept him out of the French Open. While the details of the procedure were not released, the 26-year-old is not expected to return this season although he hasn’t officially withdrawn from the ATP Tour World Finals in London.
