I wish she wouldn’t give in to the haters. A lot of women (and many men for that matter) have very thick eyebrows.

Well at least she doesn’t have a uni-brow! For goodness sakes, peeps, why is it necessary to make fun of a person’s not so great assets! Jeeze Louise….. ridiculous! And what’s worse, Serena is doing something about it to please these nit pickers….and in a pleasant manner, so it seems!! I guess she is one who can handle criticism better than I thought. Good characteristic, btw!!

i know what you mean RZ, but how cool that she called out the “haters” like that. to me, she still wins by being open. she still made the decision (not that it matters one iota, as hippy implies, lol)

Oh, dear.

People are mad about her second Serena Slam and/or her 21st GS and/or that she didn’t get called out for a wardrobe violation like Eugenie Bouchard did with her black lingerie (which IMO is a sensible thing to wear under all white; too bad for her that it showed) … so they’ve decided they’re going to criticize her eyebrows?

As she gets older, Serena has tamed the grunting a bit, is more interactive with players than the once aloof Williams family was in days of yore, socializes more, and has developed a pretty good sense of humor.
This eyebrow thing posted by her is funny.

@cf1……It wasn’t tamed when she played Vika. I think they were trying to see who could out grunt and out scream each other…..I believe Serena won that contest too!! Lol
