Sorry guys, was away a bit but let me congratulate on a few achievements. First things first:

– Congrats to Andy for another acknowledgement from the Crown. No need to be shy about it, it’s perfectly deserved. Well done!

– Congrats to Rafa for being on a good path and winning again the Mubadala World Championship. Again, good job!

– I wish you a prosperous, healthy and happy New 2017.
Sincerely, all the best!

The tennis season officially started, yay!!!

Van Persie Says:

Looks like Djoko put 1-2 kilos weight. He really looks healthier.

J-Kath Says:

Van Persie:

Nole did well to pull himself back into the first set. All his now.

Van Persie Says:

Yep JK, he was like sleepwalking during the first games. New year, new, is understandable, for the moment.

BBB Says:

Thanks VP. He looked borderline frail when he came back from Wimbledon, so that’s good news. For some reason we don’t get Doha coverage in the US until Thursday.

Truth Says:

Maybe that’s a nole plan. Play brutally bad or lose like an idiot to create a more challenging, interesting time for the top 10 guys’ fans and media.

Margot Says:

Andy was awful in the doubles. Suddenly his serve was lost again.
Bum :(

lakie Says:

Maybe Andy is tired after all the stress of the knighthood. If he doesn’t win AO this year, then Andy fans should start worrying…

J-Kath Says:

Lakie: We are always worried.

Margot Says:

lakie: blooming well hope Andy isn’t weighed down by the weight of that blooming knighthood.
TB: Kath, Colin and me will all sign your petition for the transferrance of that knighthood. We are not amused by its bestowal.

J-Kath Says:

“Indeed WE are not amused.” The Queen who only likes the sport of horses anyway, should re-name one of her horses “Sir Andy” and release our blighted tennis player so he can curse and swear freely on the tennis court….otherwise poor Andy’s career is finished.
