Novak Djokovic: A Couple Things (Injuries?) Have Surfaced
Following a late-night win over Daniil Medvedev, Novak Djokovic hinted of injury issue or illness he may be carrying at the Australian Open.
The Serb won a 4-setter during which he took a tough tumble, but his hip/leg appeared ok. But could there me more?
“It was not the fall,” Djokovic said. “It was not particularly the fall. It was just, you know, a little bit of fatigue, a little bit of back. Nothing major. But there are a couple of things that have surfaced, so to say, you know, after a match like this.”
A couple of things have surfaced? He also added he didn’t fell at the end of the match against the Russian.
“I didn’t feel so great, you know, in the last 20 minutes of the match or so,” he said.
“So we’ll see tomorrow how the body reacts, but I’m confident I can recover and I can be ready for next one.”
Djokovic is scheduled to practice 7pm local time in Melbourne.
