Preview: Roddick, Radwanska Among Strong Fields Week Before US Open
Wozniacki is the lone returning champion, trying to win her fifth straight New Haven Open. A win this year for Wozniacki would put her in rarified company, as only three players have won a tournament title five years in a row — Chris Evert (Charleston), Steffi Graf (Hamburg), and Martina Navratilova (Eastbourne, Wimbledon and Chicago).

Youzhny, G-Lo Win ATP Titles at Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok
In the semifinals G-Lo saved 24 of 26 break points against Nadal. In the final, after blowing a 3-1 lead in the final set, G-Lo was denied on a couple of match points on Nieminen’s serve in the 10th game before finally closing out the match.
