Scott Leaving WTA CEO Position to Head NCAA PAC-10 Conference
The WTA Tour announced this afternoon that CEO Larry Scott is stepping down from his position — to become commissioner of the NCAA’s PAC-10 Conference.

Statement From WTA CEO Larry Scott Regarding Dubai Penalties
What happened to Shahar last week was discriminatory, reprehensible and unacceptable, and the Tour will shortly be determining remedies for her, penalties to be imposed on the tournament, and the additional assurances we will require to guarantee all Israeli athletes entry to the UAE so that future tournaments in the UAE may take place.

WTA Dubai Tennis Event Kicks Out Israel’s Peer
And if the Peer situation happened at, say, a little event like Hobart or Budapest, would the WTA have immediately nipped it in the bud rather than letting a sponsor/tournament/nation blatantly break the rules?

Henin Retirement Statement by WTA Tour CEO Larry Scott
This is a sad day for our sport and for her millions of fans around the world, but I know that I speak for so many in wishing Justine the very best in her future endeavors and hope that she will stay connected to the sport to which she gave so much.
