Akiko Morigami 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 Wednesday to advance to the quarterfinals of the Forest Hills Women's Classic in only her second WTA event.
The No. 460-ranked wildcard from Newport Beach, Calif., will also compete next week as a wildcard at the US Open.
