- One of the most celebrated athletes in United States, being featured in non-sports publications ranging from Rolling Stone to Vogue

- Hosted the comedy program Saturday Night Live on November 8, 2003, becoming second tennis player (Chris Evert) and only 12th athlete in three decades to do so
- Father, Jerry, is an investor, and mother, Blanche, is director of the Andy Roddick Foundation, which has raised over $8.25 million for nearly 10 charities since 2001
