Swede Thomas Johansson, who entered the ATP Stockholm final Sunday with an 0-6 record against Andre Agassi, finally got over the hump with a tight 3-6, 6-3, 7-6(4) win over the top-seeded American.

It was the first title of the year for Johansson, who earlier in the season lost to Paradorn "The Thai Fighter" Srichaphan in the Nottingham final on grass.

"To win against Andre at home, it's an unbelievable feeling," Johansson said. "A year ago I was on the bike watching the other guys play the Stockholm Open and one year later I'm holding the trophy."

Agassi was broken in his first service game of the third set, but broke back to even things at 4-4 before getting edged in the breaker.

In the doubles final, unseeded Spaniards Feliciano "F-Lo" Lopez and Fernando "Hot Sauce" Verdasco upset defending champs (1) Wayne Arthurs and Paul Hanley 6-4, 6-4 for their first title of the year as a team.
