Kournikova, Iglesias Tie the Knot: Believe it or NotPosted on December 15, 2004 Well, there you have it. According to US Weekly magazine, Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias were married in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, a few weeks ago. "Everything is awesome. We are married," the magazine quotes Kournikova as saying during an Andy Roddick Foundation charity tennis event held Sunday in Boca Raton, Florida. Ivy Mollenkamp, Kournikova's publicist, refused Tuesday to confirm or deny the Us Weekly story only commenting, "We never comment on her personal life." Iglesias' representative, Stacy Boniello, also had no comment according to reports. Apparently, court officials in charge of registering marriages in Puerto Vallarta and neighboring Nuevo Vallarta said they had no record of such a wedding (sort of like there being no record of Anna ever winning a pro title). But the former Top 20 tennis pro and the Latin pop star could have had a religious wedding, which would not be legally recognized in Mexico, or they may not have had any type of wedding. Who really knows, and at this point who cares. Kournikova has been linked, if not married, to Sergei Federov, Pavel Bure, Mark Philippoussis and the milkman, cable guy and pool guy. |
