Czech Klara Koukalova won her second career title Sunday at the WTA stop in Portoroz, outlasting homecountry favorite
Katarina Srebotnik 6-2, 4-6, 6-3, raising her record in finals to 2-5.
Koukalova won her first title of the year earlier this year on grass at 's-Hertogenbosch, and is now 30-16 on the year.
Srebotnik was also the runner-up in the doubles final, with partner
Jelena Kostanic losing to
Anabel Medina Garrigues and
Roberta Vinci 6-4, 5-7, 6-2.
