Meghann Shaughnessy won the Grand Prix SAR title Sunday, outlasting No. 8 seed
Martina Sucha of Slovakia 6-2, 3-6, 6-3.
Shaughnessy is now 4-4 in career finals, winning her first tournament since Memphis in 2005.
"This was a great tournament," Shaughnessy said. "It was my first time in Morocco and I will be coming back."
Shaughnessy is 14-11 on the year after losing her first five matches of 2006.
In the Saturday doubles final, Chinese No. 1 seeds Yan/Zheng beat No. 2-seeded Americans Harkleroad/Mattek 6-1, 6-3 for their third title of the year.
