The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has launched the "Tennis iCoach" website for tennis coaches and tennis players worldwide. The website at www.tennisicoach.com features hours of exclusive video footage taken of leading tennis coaches and experts presenting at ITF coaching seminars and workshops conducted around the world.
The website also includes a search engine that allows coaches to access hundreds of articles produced by experts covering every aspect of teaching and playing tennis. Videos and instructional articles include tactics, biomechanics, psychology, technique, conditioning, coach development, strokes, teaching methodology and much more.
Also available are 30+ specially-designed audio eLearning Modules with world renowned authorities. Video analysis by ITF coaching experts highlights key points of the strokes in regular and slow motion speed, and 1,000 sequence photographs of the best players in the world hitting every stroke imaginable in both matches and practice sessions.
"We believe that distance learning will become increasingly more important and the ITF has developed the icoach website with that in mind," says ITF Executive Director of Development Dave Miley.
