  • • Father, Alejandro, played professionally in 1980s; mother, Maria Luz; brother, Juan Manuel, also plays on ATP Tour; sister, Maria Constanza, won gold medal in field hockey with Team Argentina at 2018 Youth Olympic Games.
  • • Began playing tennis at age 5 with his parents, who run an academy in Buenos Aires.
  • • Pursuing Bachelor's degree in management through online courses with the University of Palermo. Previously studied at University of Buenos Aires after playing college tennis in 2018 at University of South Carolina.

  • • Lists being smart as his best quality and being lazy as his worst quality.
  • • Says that his secret talent and favourite school subject is math. "I love everything with numbers. I love looking at stats," says Cerundolo. "It is not that I use it too much in tennis, but I probably discuss with my coach or my parents some stats that I’ve seen. Brain games are also fun for me."
