Hi Jamie
Tsonga would have been a tough man to beat but very well done for getting that far. You seem to have made a great recovery from ITP and as my son also suffers from it we are wondering what treatment you got which helped so much and what your current ITP status is. Tim is on steroids (now reduced dose) and now Azathriaprin which may or may not help. Please if you have time sometime we would be so grateful for any information in case there is something else out there more helpful.
My wife is a keen tennis fan so we will be rooting for you and the other Brits at Wimbledon! Good luck.
Regards and best wishes
John

Dear Jamie,
This is not tennis related at all although I am so pleased to hear that you are doing well at your chosen sport. Instead I am writing to you as a fellow ITP sufferer. Of course I was not pleased to hear that you had the dreaded low platelet count too but I was nevertheless interested to hear of another sufferer. Nobody seems to have heard of ITP, even the doctors seem to be at rather a loss as to how to treat it. Like yourself my symptoms showed in April 2008 and my count then was only 2,000. However, things have improved a little since then and with regular monthly checks I have learnt to gain confidence once more.
I want to wish you well in the future and shall be rooting for you in your forth coming matches.
With best wishes
Carol Gibson
