No Top 20 in Sight this Week at WTA Portoroz

Also among the seeded are Italians Mara Santangelo, Tathiana Garbin, Maria Elena Camerin and Romina Oprandi, Austrian Sybille Bammer, German Martina Muller, and France's Emilie Loit.
In last year's final the now-retired Klara Koukalova beat Srebotnik 6-2, 4-6, 6-3.
